The Eastern Railway (ER) has announced several special trains for the festive season of 2024, including:
Kolkata-Puri Special
The 03101 train will leave Kolkata at 11:50 PM on Thursdays from October 3 to November 28, 2024, and arrive in Puri at 9:35 AM the next day. The 03102 train will leave Puri at 3 PM on Fridays from October 4 to November 29, 2024, and arrive in Kolkata at 2 AM the next day.
Howrah-Darjeeling Special
This train will run on October 9, 16, and 30, and on November 6. It will depart Howrah at 11:55 PM and arrive at New Jalpaiguri Station at 1:45 AM the next day. The return journey will begin from New Jalpaiguri Station at 12:45 PM and arrive at Howrah Station at 12:10 AM.
Santragachi-Ajmer Special
The 08611 train will depart from Santragachi every Monday from September 30 to November 18, 2024, and arrive in Ajmer two days later. The return service (train number 08612) will operate on Thursdays during the same period.
Gondia-Patna Special
The 08897 and 08898 trains will operate on select dates in November.
