South Central Railway will run 78 special train services from the twin cities to different parts of the country during the festival time.
According to railway sources, 26 services will ply from Hyderabad to Raxaul, Bihar on Thursdays from first week of August till October, while the return pairs will be available on Sundays.
Apart from Hyderabad (Nampalli) railway station, people can also reserve seats from Secunderabad, Kazipet, Mancherial and Balharsha among other stations where the trains will halt.
SCR will roll out 52 special services between Secunderabad and Darbhanga from August to November. Railway officials said that people can avail of these services to reach Raipur, Rourkela, Bokaro steel city, Ranchi Gaya, Jamalpur and other places directly from the city. All these trains will comprise AC II and III tier, sleeper class, general second class, luggage cum van brake coaches.
Railway authorities have also finalized their decision to come up with 112 special trains to various destinations to clear the festive rush of passengers. Of it, 26 superfast train services will ferry passengers from Secunderabad to Vijayawada via Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Guntur and Mangalagiri in both the directions. These trains will consist of AC chair car and general second class chair car coaches.
Besides, 26 trains from Tirupati to H S Nanded will touch Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Malkajgiri, Kazipet and Vijayawada. Another 26 services, planned between Tirupati and Nagarsol, will also benefit residents of the twin cities, who can board at Lingampalli and Begumpet stations.
