To manage extra rush of passenger during Holi Festival 2018, East Central Railway will run a weekly holi special train (05539/05540) between Barauni and Lokmanya Tilak from 06 March to 27 March. Details of the train schedule and route are given below.
It will leave Barauni at 5.15 pm every Tuesday and reach Mumbai at 4.10am on Thursday. On its return journey, it will leave the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai at 2.20 pm every Thursday and reach Barauni at 2.30 pm on Saturday.
Composition: The train will be of 20 coaches — two AC three-tier coaches, 10 sleeper coaches, six general coaches and two brake vans. The train will run on the Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Sonepur-Mumbai route.
