Durga Puja Special Trains 2017 Between Chandigarh and Gorakhpur

To manage extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja and Diwali, North Eastern Railways will run special trains during the festival time. Details of the trains with dates, route and composition are given below.

Train No.04924/Train No.04923 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur-Chandigarh Weekly Special(16 Trips)

The Train No.04924 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur Weekly Special Train will start from Chandigarh at 11.15 p.m. on every Thursday from 07 September 2017 to 26 October 2017 to reach Gorakhpur at 05.30 p.m. the next day (08 trips).

In the return direction, the Train No.04923 Gorakhpur-Chandigarh Weekly Special Train will start from Gorakhpur at 10.10 p.m. on every Friday from 08 September 2017 to 27 October 2017 to reach Chandigarh at 02.25 p.m. the next day (08 trips).

Composition and Route: These special trains will have one AC First, one AC two tier ,three AC three tier,, ten Sleeper Class, five general class & two second class cum luggage van coaches, the 04924/04923 Chandigarh-Gorakhpur-Chandigarh Weekly Special Train will stop at Ambala Cantt., Saharanpur, Moradabad, Barielly, Lucknow & Gonda stations enroute in both the directions.
