To
manage extra rush of pilgrims in Gangasagar Mela 2017, Eastern Railway will
run a total of seven galloping EMU special trains between Sealdah/Kolkata and Namkhana
for five days on and from 12 to 16 January, 2017.
The down
galloping special will leave Sealdah at 6.15 hrs, 14.40hrs and Kolkata at 21.30 hrs to
reach Namkhana
at 8.45hrs, 17.33 hrs and 1.05 hrs respectively. The
Up galloping special will leave Namkhana at
9.10 hrs and 18.35 hrs to
reach Sealdah at 11.35 hrs and 21.25 hrs respectively, Lakshmikantapur
at 23.15 hrs to reach Sealdah at 00.48 hrs and Namkhana at 2.05 hrs to reach Lakshmikantapur at 2.58 hrs.
In addition to
these, this railway will run all Sunday exempted services of Lakshmikantapur –Namkhana section on 15.1.2017(Sunday), 34981
Kakdwip-Lakshmikantapur local of 14 & 15.01.2017 will be extended to
Sealdah, 34923/30711 Namkhana-Majerhat local via Ballygunge will be extended to
Sealdah on 15.01.2017, 30414 Sealdah-B.B.D Bag local will be extended to
Kolkata on 12, 13 & 14.1.2017.
