Southern Railway Sabarimala Special Trains 2016 - 17 between various destinations

To manage extra rush passengers during Sabarimala 2016-17, Southern Railway will run special trains between various destinations.

Suvidha special train from Kollam to Visakhapatnam (via Katpadi, Renigunta)

Train No.82856 Kollam – Visakhapatnam Suvidha special train will start from Kollam at 05.45 hrs. o­n 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd & 26th December, 2016 and reach Visakhapatnam at 11.00 hrs. the next day.

Composition:AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 7, General Second Class – 4 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

Route: These special trains will halt at Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada.

Train No.82802 Ernakulam – Howrah Suvidha special train will start from Ernakulam at 08.50 hrs. o­n 20th & 27thDecember, 2016 and reach Howrah at 23.00 hrs. the next day.

Composition:AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 4, Sleeper Class – 12 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.

Route: These special trains will halt at Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Nellore, o­ngole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak and Kharagpur.

Superfast special fare special trains between Chennai Central – Kollam

Train No.06041 Chennai Central – Kollam superfast special fare special train will start from Chennai Central at 16.30 hrs. o­n 19th, 21st, 26th & 28th December, 2016 and 02nd, 04th, 09th, 11th, 16th& 18th January, 2017 and reach Kollam at 06.45 hrs. the next day.

Train No.06042 Kollam – Chennai Central superfast special fare special train will start from Kollam at 22.30 hrs. o­n 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th December, 2016 & 03rd, 05th, 10th, 12th, 17th & 19thJanuary, 2017 and reach Chennai Central at 12.00 hrs. the next day.

Train No.06026 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore special fare special train will start from Tiruchchirappalli at 15.15 hrs. o­n 17th, 24th & 31st December, 2016 and 07th& 14th January, 2017 and reach Chennai Egmore at 21.10 hrs. the same day.

Train No.06025 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli special fare special train will start from Chennai Egmore at 14.30 hrs. o­n 19th & 26th December, 2016 and 02nd, 09th & 16th January, 2017 and reach Tiruchchirappalli at 20.10 hrs. the same day.
