Summer Special trains between Howrah and Chennai Central

To manage extra rush of passengers, Indian Railway will run summer special trains between Howrah and Chennai Central. Details are given below.

Howrah to Chennai Central

Train No. 00841 Howrah-Chennai Central AC weekly special will leave Howrah on Saturdays from 09 April to 25 June at 12.40 p.m. and will reach Visakhapatnam on the next day (early hours of Sundays) at 2.05 a.m. and leave at 2.35 a.m. to reach Chennai Central on Sundays at 3.05 p.m.

Chennai Central to Howrah

Train No 00842 Chennai Central- Howrah AC weekly special will leave Chennai Central on Sundays from 10 April to 26 June at 5.10 p.m. to arrive at Visakhapatnam on the next day (Mondays) at 5.15 a.m. and will leave at 5.35 a.m. to reach Howrah on the same day at 6.30 p.m.

Route: These pair of trains will have stoppages at Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada over East Coast Railway.

Composition: The trains will have 14 3rd AC coaches.
