Summer special trains between Howrah – Chennai Central and Howrah – Ernakulam

To manage extra rush of passengers during Summer holidays 2016 South Central Railway decided to run special trains between Howrah and Chennai Central and Howrah and Ernakulam.  The details of the trains are as given below:

Train No. 00841/00842 Howrah -Chennai Central- Howrah AC Superfast Summer Special Train

 Train No. 00841 Howrah-Chennai Central summer special train will depart Howrah at 12:40 hrs o­n 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30thApril, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th May, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th June, 2016 (Saturdays) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 07:50/08:00 hrs on Sunday and will arrive Chennai Central at 15:05 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 00842 Chennai Central Summer Special Train will depart Chennai Central at 17:10 hrs o­n 10th, 17th, 24th April, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th May, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26^th June, 2016 (Sundays) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 23:45/23:55 hrs and will arrive Howrah at 18:30 hrs o­n the next day.

Route: The special train will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Rd, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry and Nellore stations.

Composition: This special train will have fourteen AC III Tier Class and two Power Car Coaches.

Train No. 02853/02854 Howrah-Ernakulam-Howrah Superfast Suvidha Weekly special Trains

Train No. 02853 Howrah – Ernakulam Superfast Suvidha Special Train will depart Howrah at 17:00 hrs o­n 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th April, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28thMay, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25thJune, 2016 (Saturdays) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 12:30/12:45 hrs o­n Sundays and will arrive Ernakulam at 06:00 hrs o­n Mondays.

In the return direction, Train No. 02854 Ernakulam – Howrah Superfast Suvidha Special Train will depart Ernakulam at 08:50 hrs o­n 12th, 19th, 26th April, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st May, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th June, 2016 (Tuesday) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 02:30/02:45 hrs o­n Wednesdays and will arrive Howrah at 23:00 hrs.

Route: These special trains will stop Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Khurda Road, Brahampur, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Eluru, o­ngole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Erode and Coimbatore stations.

Composition: These special trains will have o­ne AC II Tier, four AC III Tier, twelve Sleeper Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
