Kolkata Metro Railway has arranged special
Metro services for the forthcoming Durga Puja in year 2014. There will be a
total of 544 services on the festive days from 1st October for the
convenience of pandal hoppers through day and night.
Metro Railway service of total 544 trains will
be available in between Kavi Subhash - Dum Dum from Saptami to Navami and
Dashami. This year Navami and Dashami will be on 3 October.
On 1st October a total 160 Metros
would run between Kavi Subhash and Dum Dum. On 2nd and 3rd
October 192 Metros would run between the two stations.
On 1st
October frequency of services would be 8 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes
while on the other two days, frequency of services would be 7 minutes minimum
and 15 minutes.
