in the last Railway Budget 2013 – 14, Dr. M.M.Pallam Raju, Hon’ble Union
Minister of Human resources Development flagged off a new Bi – weekly express
train between Kakinada Port and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 03/02/2014 at a
function held at Kakinada Town Railway Station so as to people of Kakinada get
direct connection to Mumbai, in presence of Sri K. Kanna Babu, Hon’ble MLA of
Kakinada, Sri Pantham Gandhi Mohan, Hon’ble MLA of Peddapuram, Smt.Vanga
Geetha, Hon’ble MLA of Pithapuram and Ms. Neetu Prasad, IAS, District
Collector, East Godavari. Sri Pradeep Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager of
Vijayawada, in his welcome address, said that the dates for regular run of the express train would be
notified later. The trainwill run asper the following schedule below :

Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur Jn., Pune Jn. and Lonavala stations in both the directions.
