Introduction of New Weekly Superfast Express Train in Konkan Railway route between Tirunelveli and Dadar

Ministry of Railways going to introduce a new weekly superfast express train between Tirunelveli and Dadar , to fulfill passengers’ demand and with an aim to clearing passengers rush.  The weekly superfast express Train No. 22630 / 22629 Tirunelveli – Dadar -. Tirunelveli will run from Tirunelveli with effect from 01/05/2013 (Wednesday) and from Dadar with effect from 03/05/2013 (Friday). Train schedule as mention below:

Running schedule of the weekly superfast express train from Tirunelveli to Dadar : Train will leave Tirunelveli at 07.10 hrs. on every Wednesday from 01/05/2013. Train will reach at Dadar at 15.10 hrs. on the next day (Thursday).

Running schedule of the weekly superfast express train from Dadar to Tirunelveli : Train will leave Dadar at 20.40 hrs. on every Friday from 03/05/2013.Train will reach at Tirunelveli at 04.00 hrs. on the third day (Sunday).

The Train No. 22630 / 22629 Tirunelveli  – Dadar – Tirunelveli  weekly superfast express Train  will stop at the following Stations : Thane,Panvel, Roha,Chiplun, Chiplun,, Thivim,Madgaon,Karwar,Honnavar,Udupi, Thokur,Mangalore Jn.,Kannur, Kozikode,.,Shoranur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur,Erode,Karur,Dindigul,Madurai, Virudunagar and Kovilpatti stations on both the  directions.

Composition of the Train No. 22830 / 22829 Tirunelveli – Dadar – Tirunelveli weekly superfast express Train: One AC – 2 – tier, one AC -3 tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two SLR coaches.
