Christmas, New Year, Irumudi, Thaipoosam and Pongal festival special trains 2012 – 2013 between Tiruneveli and Chennai Central

To clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas, New Year, Irumudi,  Thaipoosam  and Pongal festivals, Southern Railway has decided to run the following special trains between Tiruneveli and Chennai Central:

 

 Tiruneveli to Chennai Central

Train No.06750

Running schedule of the special train from Tiruneveli  to Chennai Central : Train will leave Tiruneveli  at 16.00  hrs. on every Thursdays from 29/11/2012 to 17/01/2013 i.e.,29/11,06/12,13/12, 20/12,27/12/2012,03/01/2013,10/01 and 17/01/2013 (08 trips).Train will reach at Chennai Central at 09.20 hrs. on the next day.

Chennai Central to Tiruneveli

Running schedule of the special train 2012 - 2013 from Chennai Central to Tiruneveli: Train will leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. on every Fridays from 30/11/2012 to 18/01/2013 i.e.,30/11,07/12,14/12, 21/12, 28/12/2012, 04/01/2013, 11/01 and 18/01/2013 (08 trips).Train will reach at Tiruneveli  at 14.00 hrs. on the next day.

Train No. 06750 / 06749  Tiruneveli -Chennai Central – Tiruneveli (Via Tiruchchirappalli, Erode ) weekly Christmas,New Year,Irumudi, Thaipoosam  and Pongal special train  2012 - 2013  will stop at the following  stations : Vanchi, Maniyachchi,Kovilpatti,Satur, Virudunagar,Madurai Jn., Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Karur,Erode,Salem, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Ambur, Gudiyattam, Katpadi, and Arakkonam stations in both the directions. Train No.06750 will stop at Perambur station also.

Composition of the Train No.06750 / 06749 Tiruneveli -Chennai Central – Tiruneveli ( Via Tiruchchirappalli, Erode ) weekly Christmas,New Year,Irumudi, Thaipoosam  and Pongal special train  2012 – 2013 : One AC – 2 – tier, two  Ac – 3 – tier, ten Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and  two Luggage cum Brake Vans coaches.
