Christmas, New Year, Irumudi, Thaipoosam and Pongal festival special trains 2012 – 2013 between Chennai Egmore and Coimbatore

To clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas, New Year, Irumudi,  Thaipoosam  and Pongal festivals, Southern Railway has decided to run the following special trains between Chennai Egmore and Coimbatore:

 

 Chennai Egmore to Coimbatore

Train No.06037

Running schedule of the special train 2012 – 2013 from Chennai Egmore to Coimbatore (Via Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Salem): Train will leave Chennai Egmore  at  18.30  hrs. on every Mondays from 03/12/2012 to 21/01/2013 i.e., 03/12,10/12,17/12,24/12, 31/12/2012, 07/01/2013, 14/01and 21/01/2013 (08 trips). Train will reach at Coimbatore at 07.00 hrs. on the next day.

Coimbatore to Chennai Egmore

Train No.06038

Running schedule of the special train 2012 - 2013   from Coimbatore to Chennai Egmore  (Via Salem, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram): Train will leave Coimbatore at 15.40 hrs. on every Tuesdays from 04/12/2012 to 22/01/2013 i.e.,04/12,11/12,18/12, 25/12/2012, 01/01/2013,08/01,15/01 and 22/01/2013 (08 trips).Train will reach at Chennai Egmore  at 04.15 hrs. on the next day.

Train No. 06037 / 06038 Chennai Egmore – Coimbatore - Chennai Egmore (Via Villupuram, Vriddhachalam,Salem) will stop at the following  stations : Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Melmaruvattur, Villupuram Jn., Vriddhachalam, Mukhasaparur, Pukkiravari,Chinna Salem, Attur, Pedanyknpalayam, Ettapur Road,Valappadi Gate, Ayodhyapapattanam, Salem Town, Sankaridurg,Erode Jn. and Tirppur  stations in both the directions.Train No.06037 will stop at  Coimbatore North and Train No. 06038  will stop at Mambalam station also.

Composition of the Train No. 06037 / 06038: Four sleeper class, fifteen general second class and two luggage cum brake van coaches.

Running schedule of the special train 2012 – 2013 from Chennai Egmore to Coimbatore (Via Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Salem): Train will leave Chennai Egmore  at 20.20  hrs. on every Wednesdays  from 05/12/2012 to 23/01/2013 i.e.,05/12, 12/12, 19/12, 26/12/2012, 02/01/2013, 09/01,16/01 and 23/01/2013 (08 trips). Train will reach at Coimbatore at 07.00 hrs. on the next day.

Train No. 06040 Coimbatore to Chennai Egmore special train 2012 – 2013 will stop at the following stations: Tiruppur, Erode Jn.,Kadumudi,Pugalur,Karur, Tiruchchirappali, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram,Melmaruvathur, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam stations.

Train will reach at Coimbatore at 02.30 hrs. on the next day.
