Christmas, New Year, Irumudi, Thaipoosam and Pongal festival special trains 2012 – 2013 between Tiruchchirappalli and Chennai Egmore

  

To clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas, New Year, Irumudi,  Thaipoosam  and Pongal festivals, Southern Railway has decided to run the following special trains in 2012-2013 between Tiruchchirappalli and  Chennai Egmore:

Tiruchchirappalli to Chennai Egmore

Train No.06802

Running schedule of the special train from Tiruchchirappalli to Chennai Egmore special train 2012 – 13  from Tiruchchirappalli to Chennai Egmore : Train will leave Tiruchchirappalli   at 19.30  hrs. on every Mondays from 26/11/2012 to 21/01/2013 i.e.,26/11,03/12,10/12,17/12,24/12, 31/12/2012,07/01/2013,14/01 and 21/01/2013 (09 trips).Train will reach at Chennai Egmore at 04.20 hrs. on the next day.

Chennai Egmore to Tiruchchirappalli

Train No.06801

Running schedule of the superfast special train 2012 – 2013 from Chennai Egmore to Tiruchchirappalli: Train will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45 hrs. on every Thursdays from 29/11/2012 to 24/01/2013 i.e., 29/11, 06/12, 13/12, 20/12, 27/12/2012, 03/01/2013,10/01,17/01 and 24/01/2013 (09 trips). Train will reach at Tiruchchirappalli at 06.00 hrs. on the next day.

Route of train No. 06802 / 06801

Train No. 06802 / 06801 Tiruchchirappalli - Chennai Egmore  – Tiruchchirappalli  (Via Mayiladuthurai,Villupuram) special train 2012 – 13  will stop at the following  stations: Thanjavur, Kumbakonam,Mayiladuturai Jn., Sirkazhi, Chidambaram, Tirupadiripuliyur, Villupuram, Malmaruvattur, Chengalpattu  and Tambaram stations in both the directions. Train No.06802 will stop at Mambalam station also.

Composition of the Train No. 06802 / 06801 Tiruchchirappalli  - Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli  (Via Mayiladuthurai,Villupuram) weekly Thanjavur, special train 2012 – 13   : One AC – 2 – tier, two  Ac – 3 – tier, thirteen Sleeper Class, three  General Second Class and  two Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.
