Opening Of New Route From Tarakeswar To Arambag And Introduction Of New Train Between Arambag And Tarakeswar In Bengal

After long awating atlast the new Rail route Tarakeswar to Arambag 24.5 Km.is going to be open on 04/06/2012.

Mamata Banerjee,Chief Minister of West Bengal will flag off the Arambag to Tarakeswar Train at Arambag.The Time Table will be published later on.

In future this route will be extended upto Bishnupur,a historical town which is rich in Temple Architecture.This route will cover Jairambati,Kamarpukur and several other locations.The new Rail link will also reduce the distance from Bishnupur to Kolkata by at least 30 Km.

Apart  from regular passengers between Tarakeswar and Bishnupur,this new route would give an edge to hundreds of tourists as well as devotiees who regularly come to these areas.Fares are held at Bishnupur and Jairambati,the holy birth place of “SARADA MA” and Kamarpukur, the holy birth place of “RAMKRISHNA PARAMHANSA” – both places get several pilgrims.
